Reliable Piping Solutions for the Petrochemical Industry

Process flanges, buttweld and threaded fittings, forged fittings and stud bolts engineered and documented for refineries, cracking units, storage terminals and cross-country pipelines.

Built for Refining, Cracking & Petrochemical Processing

Mishkat supplies precision-manufactured piping components for the petrochemical sector — from crude and process unit piping in refineries to cracking and reforming units, tank farms and pipeline transport systems. Every component is manufactured, tested and documented to the material and traceability standards process-plant piping demands, including grades suited to sour and corrosive media.

Mishkat Pipe Fittings Co. is ISO 9001:2015 certified, with full heat-number material traceability and Material Test Certificates issued for every batch — the documentation standard fabricators and EPC contractors expect for refinery and petrochemical piping packages.

Challenges & Solutions

Challenge

Corrosion from Sour & Acidic Media

H2S, acid gases and other sour process media attack standard carbon steel and cause cracking in susceptible materials.

Solution

NACE MR0175 compliant grades — including F51/F53 duplex and 316L stainless — selected for sour and acidic service.

Challenge

High-Temperature & High-Pressure Service

Cracking, reforming and distillation units operate at elevated temperatures and pressures well beyond general utility piping.

Solution

A105N and LF2 forged flanges and fittings manufactured and rated to ASME B16.5 / B16.9 for high-temperature process duty.

Challenge

Hazardous-Area Documentation

Piping packages for classified plant areas require complete, auditable material and dimensional documentation.

Solution

Full heat-number traceability and Material Test Certificates supplied to support plant hazardous-area compliance records.

Challenge

Cyclic Thermal Stress

Repeated heating and cooling cycles in cracking and reforming service can fatigue standard fitting grades over time.

Solution

Duplex and alloy steel grades specified for thermal-cycling resistance in high-duty process units.

Challenge

Turnaround Planning

Refinery and plant turnarounds run on tight schedules where undocumented or mismatched components cause delays.

Solution

Batch-wise MTC documentation and consistent dimensional accuracy to support turnaround procurement schedules.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you supply NACE MR0175 compliant materials for sour service?
Yes — F51/F53 duplex and 316L stainless flanges and fittings are supplied to NACE MR0175 hardness and material requirements for sour, H2S-containing process service.
What materials are used for high-temperature process piping?
A105N carbon steel is standard for general high-temperature process duty. For sour or highly corrosive high-temperature service, F51/F53 duplex or 316/316L stainless is specified. Nickel alloys such as Inconel are available to order for extreme sour or high-corrosion applications — confirm current stock allocation with our sales team before quoting, as these are not standard stock grades.
Can you support piping for hazardous-area classified plant?
Yes. Our flanges and fittings are passive components — hazardous-area classification is an electrical/plant-design requirement rather than a certification carried by piping components themselves. We support hazardous-area piping packages with full material traceability, dimensional verification and MTC documentation for your plant's compliance records.
Do you supply stud bolts for process flange joints?
Yes — ASTM A193 B7/B7M stud bolts with A194 Grade 2H nuts for standard process duty; A193 B8M (SS 316) sets for corrosive and sour-service flange joints.
Can you deliver to a plant turnaround schedule?
Yes — we understand refinery and plant turnarounds run on fixed windows. Typical lead time for petrochemical orders is 3–5 days. Contact us to discuss your turnaround delivery schedule.
