Who is Mishkat Pipe Fittings Co.?
Mishkat Pipe Fittings Co. is a Chennai-based manufacturer and exporter of forged flanges, stud bolts, fasteners, foundation bolts and pipe fittings. Founded in 2020, Mishkat is ISO 9001:2015 certified and is an approved vendor to Major Shipbuilding. The name Mishkat (مشكاة) means “lantern” in Arabic, reflecting the company’s mission to be a guiding light of quality in the industrial supply chain.
Is Mishkat ISO 9001 certified?
Yes. Mishkat Pipe Fittings Co. is certified to ISO 9001:2015 by Optimum Certifications Inc. (OCI). Certificate No. QMS/23N1031, valid until 11th September 2026. Who are your clients?
Mishkat is an approved vendor to Major Shipbuilding — one of India’s largest shipbuilders. Mishkat also supplies to IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, ONGC, Thermax, Emerson and Siemens, among others, and serves 300+ clients across India and internationally.

Mishkat Pipe Fittings Co. is located at New No. 25, Shop No. 16, Kumbalamman Koil Street, Tondiarpet, Chennai – 600 081, Tamil Nadu, India. Tondiarpet is strategically located within Chennai’s industrial corridor, close to Chennai Port for export logistics.
Do you manufacture or just trade?
Mishkat manufactures in-house using precision forging, CNC machining and thread-rolling equipment. Hot forging is performed on 300T Birson forging hammers. Machining is on Jyoti CNC turning centres. Thread rolling is on German Seso machines. Heat treatment and quality testing are also in-house.

What flange types do you manufacture?
Mishkat manufactures the complete ASME B16.5 range: Weld Neck, Slip-On, Blind, Socket Weld, Threaded, Lap Joint, Long Weld Neck, Orifice, Spectacle Blind / Fig.8 and Spacer & Paddle. All types are available in raised face (RF) and flat face (FF). ⚠ [ADD: Confirm RTJ, Male-Female and T&G face types]
What pressure classes are available for flanges?
ASME B16.5 pressure classes: 150, 300, 600, 900, 1500 and 2500. For large-bore flanges (NPS 26" to 60"), ASME B16.47 Series A is ⚠ [ADD: available / not available — confirm].
What material grades are available?
Carbon steel: ASTM A105. Stainless steel: A182 F304, F304L, F316, F316L. Alloy steel: ⚠ [ADD: F11, F22, F91 — confirm availability]. Special grades including NACE-compliant B7M/2HM for stud bolts. See individual product pages for the complete material matrix.
Can you manufacture to custom or non-standard specifications?

Do you supply NACE MR0175-compliant products for sour service?
Yes — ASTM A193 B7M stud bolts with A194 2HM heavy hex nuts are supplied per NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for H₂S sour service piping. Hardness is verified and documented. NACE-compliant flange base materials are also available across all grades on request.
Quality & Documentation
What test certificates do you provide?
Standard: Mill Test Certificate (MTC) per EN 10204 Type 3.1 — chemical analysis, mechanical test results, hardness data, and heat number traceability. Also available: dimensional inspection report, visual inspection certificate, hardness test certificate, and Type 3.2 (third-party witnessed MTC) on request.
Do you support Third Party Inspection (TPI)?
Yes. TPI by your nominated inspection agency is fully supported at our facility. Agencies supported include TÜV and Bureau Veritas, as well as any client-nominated inspection agency. TPI witness inspection can be arranged with advance notice.
What is your raw material source?
Mishkat sources raw material exclusively from approved Indian mills: Vizag Steel (VSP), Sun Flag Iron & Steel, and JSW. Mill certificates accompany every material lot, ensuring full billet-to-component traceability.
What quality testing is performed in-house?
In-house quality testing at Mishkat includes: chemical analysis (wet analysis), hardness testing (Brinell and Rockwell), dimensional inspection (calibrated gauges), visual and surface inspection, thread gauging (Go/No-Go gauges), and ultrasonic testing (UT) on Pfine 40T machine.
Ordering, MOQ & Delivery
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ varies by product: 25 pieces for standard stock items and 100 pieces for custom manufacturing, as a general rule. Product-specific figures — for example 100 pieces for fasteners and pipe fittings, 500 sets for stud bolts — are listed on each product page.
What is the standard delivery lead time?
Stock items typically ship in 2–3 days, and manufactured-to-order items take 1–2 weeks depending on product and quantity. For example: fasteners 7–14 days, stud bolts 5–7 days, pipe fittings 10–14 days, and foundation bolts 7–10 days.
What are your payment terms?
Standard terms are 50% advance with the balance payable against dispatch. Alternative terms can be discussed for established accounts.
Do you accept sample or trial orders?
Yes. Sample orders of 1–5 pieces are accepted for evaluation, and 3D-printed models can also be provided for review before committing to a full production run.

Export & International Supply
Do you export internationally?
Yes. Mishkat exports to 10+ countries including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Germany, the UK, USA, Australia, Sri Lanka and other African markets. Shipments are made Ex-Works Chennai, FOB or CIF depending on the buyer’s requirement, with full export documentation.
What export documentation do you provide?
Standard export documents: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin (COO), Mill Test Certificates (MTC), Bill of Lading. Additional documents — MSDS, fumigation certificate, phytosanitary — arranged on request.
